"Homecoming: Fluxus and Visual Poetry by Regional Natives" with John M. Bennett, Keith A. Buchholz, Larry Miller and Cecil Touchon - Curated by Keith Buchholz
Opening reception Friday, May 28, 2010 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. with Performances at 7 p.m.
Homecoming: Fluxus and Visual Poetry by Regional Natives presents the work of four artists active in the artistic traditions of Fluxus, Intermedia, and publication who each have ties to St. Louis. They are part of the "Eternal Network," an underground affiliation of artists, poets and anti-artists who deal with text, image, sound, object and performance. The exhibition promises to both challenge viewers and encourage their interaction.
Exhibition runs Friday, May 28 through Sunday, July 11, 2010, Regular gallery hours are Mon. thru Fri., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sat. & Sun., noon to 5 p.m. Free parking available in the lot behind The Pageant; some metered street parking available
