The Luminary | Center for the Arts is pleased to open its 2010 Season with the international group exhibition Old Media/Old News. This high-profile exhibition brings together six innovative emerging artists working with concepts of news reception, media saturation and the role of the artist as documentarian and mediator of information in our increasingly rapid global news culture.
Participating artists include Martin Brief, Lisa Bulawsky, Michelle Forsyth, Austin Kleon, Jihoon Park and Xiang Yang.
The opening reception will take place on Saturday, January 30th from 6-9pm and the exhibition will remain on view Wednesday-Saturday from 12-6pm each week through March 27th.
