Art Saint Louis: Saturday, 16 January 2010

New exhibits open at Art Saint Louis this Saturday night, January 16, 2010 from 6-8 p.m.,
FREE Opening Reception for two new exhibitions, "Articulated Vision" and "Remix."

"Articulated Vision" is a multi-media juried exhibition featuring original artworks by 44 regional artists from Missouri & Illinois. The 53 artworks in this exhibit present a visual translation of the artist's inner thoughts and/or dreams. Juried by artist Brigham Dimick, Associate Professor, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and Patricia Olynyk, Director, Graduate School, Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, Washington University in St. Louis.

Presented concurrently with "Articulated Vision," is "Remix," on view in the Art Saint Louis South Gallery and Little Gallery, January 18-February 18, 2010. This three-artist curated exhibit presents the mixed media works of St. Louis area artists Catharine Magel, Melody Evans and Leslie Macklin.

Art Saint Louis is FREE & open to the public Monday-Friday 10 a .m.-5 p.m. & Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Closed Sundays, holidays & between exhibits. Gallery closed during the day January 16.

Art Saint Louis is located at 555 Washington Avenue in the heart of downtown St. Louis (on Washington Avenue between Broadway & 6th Street). Please enter the Gallery through our front doors on Washington Avenue. The entryway is marked by two beautiful artist-designed Art Saint Louis banners.
