Foundry Art Centre: Friday, 31 July 2009
The Opening of “Friendly Fire”, an exhibition celebrating the diversity of clay, is 6pm – 9pm, Friday, July 31, 2009. This juried exhibition was open to all ceramic artists working with functional, non-functional and sculptural clay.
Bob Allen Invitational Exhibition features the works of Bob Allen along with those of former students whose lives he touched throughout thirty three years of teaching at Meramec Community College, St. Louis. Allen is now a full-time artist-in-residence at the Foundry Art Centre.
Ameristar Gallery Emerging Artist Series: Bryce Olen Robinson, Mixed Media
The Foundry Art Centre’s studio artists will host “Open Studio” night from 6pm – 9pm in conjunction with “Friendly Fire” opening. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
