Summer Solstice Celebration heats up June with free entertainment, sponsored by the Young Friends of KWMU. Meet KWMU Reporter Adam Allington. See glowing glassblowing demonstrations. Watch artists use torches in the flameworking studio. Enjoy our a/c and chill-ax! For the hearing impaired, sign language student interpreters from SLCC-FloValley will sign glassblowing demos from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Music: Smooth harmonies and hard driving instrumentals. Fox Creek Band revs up with an eclectic acoustic mix of bluegrass, country and gospel. Drinks of the Month: Solstice Martinis and Oh-So-Refreshing-Frozen Margaritas.

Reaction and Form. Kiln-formed glass by Lisa Becker. Her designs are inspired by the shapes and textures of nature, the lines of architecture, and the depth of the human form.
Michelle "Mike" Ochonicky: A Retrospective.Celebrating thirty years as an artist, Ochonicky's exhibit includes her award-winning, hand-etched scrimshaw along with drawings and photographs, all in her signature sepia tones.
