Join us for the Opening Reception Friday, January 9 from 6 – 9 PM
Free and open to the public, wine and light refreshments.
Amy Lee Ball uses stiffened fabric sculptures to convey and honor the strength and power that women possess. She uses soft pliable fabric, representing the beauty and vulnerability in the female mind with the conflicting hardness of glue to reveal inner strength paired with determination. Her work bridges the history of womankind from mythological goddesses of the past to women inspiring her present life. Pillow creations by Katie Goedde compliment the sculpture.
Exhibiting January 4-31, 2009
Open Mondays 1-3 p.m. Call 314.621.4744 to confirm additional hours
