Urban Arts Collective: Saturday, 10 January 2009

The Urban Arts Collective presents a photographic collection entitled "High Mesas", by Chuck Ramsay. An Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 in the Arts Collective space adjacent to the Urban Eats Café, at 3301 Meramec Street, St Louis Mo

Doors to the exhibit will open at 4 PM, with complimentary wine and appetizers. Guests are invited to view Ramsay's works, which are reflective of the beauty and grandeur of the high deserts of southern Utah and southwestern Colorado. This is an area of the U.S. where the colors of the mountains, just as in Ramsay's finished pieces, "change by the minute and go from extraordinarily brilliant to muted."

In conjunction with the opening, Urban Eats Café ill offer a specially priced "Southwestern Spread" as a late lunch or early dinner package, from 3 PM til the café closes at 7 PM. No
reservations are required for guests who would like to enjoy the fresh fare before or after visiting the exhibit. The High Mesas Exhibit will close at 8 PM. The exhibit will run through March 31, 2009 in the Urban Arts Collective space.
