Personal Allegories: William LaChance. Jesse Thomas, Ian Weaver
These three artists all work in the figurative narrative painting style that hovers somewhere between realism and surrealism. William LaChance uses real and imagined spaces to weave his images. Jesse Thomas shows us dream worlds that represent new ways of representation using a
juxtaposition of pop imagery and references to art history. Ian Weaver's vision incorporates installation and painting in which he opposes memory and sentimentality with the harshness of documentation and bleak cityscapes.
