The exhibition of small scale gouache paintings by Peter Shank features over [?] works based on his travels throughout the U.S., Europe and North Africa from the 1960s through today. The paintings, which often include elements of collage, are more than just the snapshots of a tourist as they incorporate historical and social commentary.

Peter Shank has exhibited at the Saint Louis Art Museum, Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Yale University and the Galerie Arch in Amsterdam. His commissioned work became the face of the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and the COCA Family Theatre Series.
