Opening Reception, Friday, March 30, 6-8p.m.
Please join us for the opening of a solo exhibit of new work by nationally known photographer Avery Danzinger, Friday, March 30th with a reception for the artist from 6 to 8 p.m. This is part of a coordinated CWE Gallery Walk.
Titled Cabo de Gata, Moonlit, the show features minimalist moonlit scenes from a Spanish coastal beach. Included are pure night time landscapes and also works featuring active nude figures. Danzinger's photographs are all done without double exposures or computer manipulation, using only long exposures, and for this series, moonlight and a flashlight. All are constructed within the single exposure.
Atrium Gallery is located at 4729 McPherson Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108. Regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10-6, Sunday 12-4, and by appointment. The exhibition will run through May 13, 2007.
