Gallery Visio: 28 November 2006

Gallery Visio invites you to our 2nd annual Art for AIDS exhibition and fundraiser at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, November 28, 2006 through January 6, 2007. Our opening reception will be Tuesday November 28th, from 4-7pm at the gallery, located on the lower level of the Millennium Student Center on the university’s main campus. This year’s exhibition will coincide with the ceremony for the arrival of the traveling AIDS Quilts November 28th, in the rotunda of the Millennium Student Center.

The Art for AIDS exhibition will include a silent auction, a retail space and will feature juried works by some of the most talented fine artists in the St. Louis region. Prices start at fifteen dollars retail. A portion of all proceeds will go to Camp HOPE, a summer camp for HIV infected children and their families provided through Project Ark of St. Louis, a local AIDS service agency. If you would like to put a face on the staggering statistics for HIV and AIDS, come and support Camp HOPE, and leave with more than an investment in talent, leave with an investment in life.
