UNCHARTED: a solo exhibition by artist Julie Snidle

In the upcoming solo
exhibition, "Uncharted," encaustic painter Julie Snidle explores new territory. Her atmospheric compositions suggest a landscapes of
inner discovery.
"When we tell the universe what we want, the universe answers back, often in surprising and unexpected ways. As we move from what is familiar to that which is unknown, the myriad of intangible possibilities surrounds us in our thoughts and in our dreams. Not knowing for certain where we will land or when, puts us in a zone that is both unsettling and exhilarating. My work speaks to that zone of uncertainty, that feeling of distance before connection. Snidle is a Core Support Instructor and representative for R&F Handmade Paints based in Kingston, NY. Her work can be found in galleries and collections across the U.S. Reese Gallery is honored to present Julie Snidle and her painterly journey in her solo exhibition, Unhcharted.
