Jay Lizo’s work Microphones, 2016 stand as a mute poet, the resins mimic the form and function of the voice like sweet treacle, yet what is important about these objects cannot be put into words. Eve Maret’s audio installation stands as a blind painting evoking memories, dreams and nightmares as a private vision. The combination of works is about unfathomable expressions, the sounds shapes and colors. This particular pairing is also about "seeing" and "recording" the way memory plays on the surface of things, in contrast from the things in front of our eyes and in our ears. The spatial relationship between these artworks play with both the sensation of sight and the mysteries of representation.
