Framations: Friday, 15 July 2016
A new exhibit at Framations Custom Framing and Art Gallery offers something for those inspired by animals. This exhibit, entitled "All Things Wild", is an all media exhibit of work focusing on the animal kingdom. This includes everything from the teeny tiny to the great and mighty. The opening reception for this exhibit will be Friday, July 15 from 6-8pm. Framations also invites the public to vote for People's Choice in the "All Things Wild" exhibit when they visit. The voting continues through the full length of the exhibit, which ends on August 25.
On display for the same period will be the exhibit Spirit Song, a mother and daughter exhibit by Judith and Ginger Repke. This mother and daughter work with the creator individually and/or with each other when making art. Judith encouraged her daughter Ginger to paint her visions and gave her oil paint, canvas and an easel for Christmas. Ginger has taken her camera on mother-daughter vacations and to various other locations, some photographs provide Judith with inspiration. Judith's finished work contains things God has put in without her knowledge and Ginger likes to find and comment on them. Ginger seeks technical advice and comments on her work from Judith for guidance and growth. Both delight in this creative collaboration. This exhibit will also open on July 15 and continue through August 25. Samples of their work can be found on www.framations.com.
