Art Saint Louis: Satruday, 28 March 2009

Please join Art Saint Louis this Saturday evening, March 28, from 6-8 p.m. for a free opening reception for two new shows, "Honor Awards 2009," and "Honor Awards: Varsity Art." These exhibits are on view through April 23, 2009.

This new multi-media curated exhibition features works in a variety of media by ten Award of Excellence recipients from Art Saint Louis' 2008 juried exhibition season. Curated by nationally exhibited St. Louis artist Judy Child.

This year's exhibit features James Adabie, Hillsboro MO; Elizabeth Simmons Allen, Richmond Heights MO; Gloria Anderson, St. Louis; Jon Calvert, St. Louis; M.J. Goerke, St. Louis; Richard Jennings, St. Louis; Ruth Kolker, Creve Coeur, MO; Janice Nesser, Florissant, MO; Amy Firestone Rosen, Clayton, MO; Carol Stewart, Clayton, MO.

Art Saint Louis is also presenting a concurrent exhibition on view during the "Honor Awards 2009" exhibit: Presented in the new ASL North Gallery is a special presentation of Award of Excellence recipients' works from our recent "Varsity Art XIII" exhibit (March 3-13). This new exhibit features works by Megan Barron, David Dolak, Naxin Fan, Rebecca Helton, Christopher Ryan, Matthew Schultz, Michael Lynwood Shultis, David Stout, and Christine Warner.
Regular Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10AM-5PM and Saturday 10AM-4PM. Closed Sundays, holidays and between exhibits.
