VICTOR WANG: Memoir of Sunflower

Please join us as we open our Fall Season with a solo exhibition, "Memoir of Sunflower" by internationally recognized painter Victor Wang. Originally from China, Wang completed his education in the US where he now shows actively in St. Louis, New York, and also in Canada. His dramatic figure subjects present engaging and enigmatic experiences for viewers. They are large scale painterly pieces, with small, subtle collage references to Wang's Chinese heritage. The exhibition opens Friday, September 7th, with a Reception for the Artist from 6-8 p.m.. Victor Wang will present a brief Artist Talk at 6:30p.m.. This evening will be part of a Euclid/McPherson Gallery Walk.
