REMEMBER HEAVEN: JIM HODGES AND ANDY WARHOL

January 26 - April 8, 2007

Friday, January 26
6:00-7:00 pm, Members' Preview and Reception
7:00-9:00 pm, Public Opening

Nothing beats the thrill of Opening Night - especially when Warhol is coming to town (of course, we're talking about his art work)! Artist Jim Hodges joins us in celebrating the opening of one of the biggest exhibitions to come to St. Louis. Free admission and complimentary valet.

This highly-anticipated exhibition pairs the work of Andy Warhol, widely regarded as the most important artist of the twentieth century, with the work of Jim Hodges, a major New York artist working today. On view will be signature works by Warhol including his Jackie silkscreens and Silver Clouds, as well as many of his rare works that have never before been exhibited outside the Warhol Museum.

The exhibition is creating a buzz throughout the art world that is turning national attention towards St. Louis and the Contemporary. We are thrilled to welcome Artist Jim Hodges and a number of national and international art collectors to St. Louis for this grand opening, and we hope you will be able to join us for this landmark event in the cultural history of St. Louis.
